Pertemps Leeds is seeking a Counterbalance FLT Driver for night shifts in Normanton, working Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:00. This full-time, temporary role offers £16.97 per hour and the potential to move onto a permanent contract. The position involves operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload lorries, relocate stock, support goods-in and dispatch, and complete daily vehicle checks within a prominent drinks distribution warehouse. Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers on behalf of a leading drinks distribution operation based in Normanton, Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Duties Include

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Supporting goods-in and dispatch operations
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable and committed with a strong work ethic
