Corrugated Packaging Cut/Crease Manager

An award winning packaging supplier is seeking a skilled die cutting machine expert with over three years of hands on experience to lead its die cutting department. The role is focused on driving performance, improving processes and ensuring the department meets high product quality and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage throughput and optimise run speeds.
• Monitor make ready times, run speeds and quality output.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and manage departmental staff.
• Control and reduce costs, including overtime.
• Maintain machines and ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
• Stay current with client policies and procedures for staff management.

Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of folding cartons, creasing and blanking processes.
• Experience in managing people and teams.
• Strong problem solving and communication abilities.
• Passion for the packaging industry and openness to new technologies.
• Commitment to uphold client values of excellence and continuous improvement.

This managerial position requires a self starter, a people person and a skilled communicator capable of coaching a team and providing feedback to senior directors.
