Job Description

As a Corporate Tax Manager in the accountancy industry, you'll manage and oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory work for a variety of clients. Based in Sidcup, this role is vital for ensuring clients meet their tax obligations while maximising opportunities for tax efficiency.

Client Details

Our client is a well established accountancy practice based close to Sidcup. They are investing in their corporate tax team (following the growth of their corporate tax portfolio). This role is a key position which will manage the compliance and advisory of their OMB portfolio.

Description

  • Manage corporate tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Provide high-quality tax advice to clients on a range of corporate tax matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Review and prepare corporate tax computations and returns.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Support clients with HMRC enquiries and negotiations as required.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and share insights with the team.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accountancy or tax (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CTA).
  • Strong expertise in corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.

Job Offer

  • Salary range of £62,500 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
