Corporate Tax Lawyer 1-3 PQE Leading National Practice Birmingham

BCL Legal is delighted to be partnering with a leading UK law firm in the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Lawyer for its Birmingham office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier tax team acting on a broad range of complex national and cross-border corporate tax matters, advising major clients across key sectors including energy, infrastructure, financial services, and private capital.

This role offers the chance to work as part of a high-performing, collaborative team delivering sophisticated tax advice on significant corporate transactions and advisory mandates-right here in Birmingham.

The Role:
Working closely with senior lawyers and partners, you'll advise on a wide variety of matters including:

Mergers, acquisitions, and disposals (UK and international)

Joint ventures, restructurings, and reorganisations

Fund and investment structuring

Cross-border tax planning and transfer pricing

Real estate tax (including SDLT and anti-avoidance rules)

Employment tax and incentive schemes

You'll play an integral role in delivering commercially focused, technically robust tax advice to a high-quality client base, including corporates, financial institutions, and institutional investors.

Candidate Profile:
1-3 years' PQE in corporate tax with a reputable national, City, or strong regional firm

A good grounding in transactional tax work (M&A experience desirable)

Strong technical skills with a commercial mindset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A team player keen to build long-term client relationships and contribute to team development

Candidates focusing solely on private client, tax disputes, or share schemes are not suited to this position.
