The team advises a diverse client base including private equity investors, corporates, business owners and management teams, and benefits from access to a broader national corporate practice carrying out complex, often multi jurisdictional transactions.

Your new role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join a forward thinking team working on high value, challenging transactions in the South West market.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on a broad range of corporate matters including mergers & acquisitions, investments and private equity transactions
  • Supporting clients on acquisitions, disposals and strategic investments
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex corporate documentation
  • Delivering clear, pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice
  • Working closely with colleagues as part of a collaborative and ambitious team
What you'll need to succeed
  • 3 years' post qualification experience in corporate law
  • Qualification as a UK Solicitor (England, Wales or Scotland)
  • Experience handling strong quality corporate work, ideally including private equity
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • The ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non lawyers
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach and strong team ethic
