At AXA Health, our customer journey begins in Distribution. We're responsible for nearly one million members at new business and renewal. Our teams guide businesses of all sizes, from two employees to 10,000, through our products and processes to help them protect themselves and their families. If you're a leader and expert in the UK PMI (private medical insurance) healthcare market, this could be the role for you.
You will establish, develop, and implement the strategy for AXA Health's Corporate business to deliver profitable, sustainable growth through effective client acquisition and retention. You'll create compelling propositions, articulating a cohesive vision that delivers sales, retention, and client satisfaction in line with targets.
This role is field-based with travel to AXA offices and client sites as required. We are open to flexible working arrangements, which can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing:- Lead development of AXA Health's Corporate business strategy, setting a strategic vision to meet financial and business goals for 3-5 years.
- Provide strategic input to ensure AXA Health's products and services support innovative, leading-edge propositions for clients.
- Overall accountability for P&L and delivery of strategic and financial growth plans.
- Inspire and lead a team of approximately 150 colleagues across the UK through effective development, performance management, and incentivization.
- Establish and maintain effective governance to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Manage outsourced and third-party relationships to meet standards and represent AXA Health effectively.
- Responsible for Trust scheme management.
- Own the Performance Related Pay Scheme (PRP) aligned with AXA policies.

What you'll bring:- Proven experience in a UK Corporate PMI leadership role - essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge of the UK PMI market - essential.
- Experience managing a large, high-performing, multidisciplinary team and P&L - essential.
- Ability to think strategically, create a compelling business vision, and drive growth and change - essential.
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
- Project and budget management expertise.
- Strategic and business planning methodologies.
Applicants must be eligible and authorized to work in the UK. The role is classified under the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) and SM&CR regimes, requiring background checks and declarations.
