A quick look at the role

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for managing the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients. The role involves overseeing financial performance, strategic growth, contractual negotiations, meeting KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction and retention, executing strategic account plans, and providing innovative solutions.

Your core responsibilities

  1. Implement strategic business account plans, ensure service success, contract compliance, client retention, and manage pricing negotiations.
  2. Retain corporate clients through positive relationships and growth of service provision to meet revenue targets. Manage tender, benchmarking, and RFI processes, and identify new development opportunities for profitable growth.
  3. Attend customer reviews and present management information and advice on waste management programs.
  4. Conduct site audits, analyze data, and develop action plans for client presentation.
  5. Build confidence with clients through solid, multi-level relationships.
  6. Apply sector expertise to identify new business development opportunities within clients' businesses.
  7. Maintain customer debt in line with contractual commitments.
  8. Engage effectively at all levels for negotiation, influence, and communication to deliver long-term benefits.
  9. Understand and apply commercial and financial principles related to costs, profits, markets, and added value.
  10. Develop joint strategies to support clients' CSR objectives.

Our essential requirements

  • Experience in a large-scale account management environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
