OVERVIEWLawes are currently partnered with a leading global broker who due to expansion are seeking a proactive and experienced Corporate Account Handler - Team Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic account handling team. Our client will consider an individual with a Senior background who is looking to progress their career into a more managerial role. This role is perfect for a motivated, knowledgeable professional with a strong background in account handling and commercial account management.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead, develop, and manage a team of corporate account handlers, ensuring optimal team performance and employee satisfaction.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service to clients, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving business growth.
- Oversee the management of complex commercial accounts, providing expert guidance and support to the team.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value clients and ensure delivery of exceptional, tailored client service aligned with business goals.
- Drive business retention and growth initiatives by building long-lasting client relationships and identifying cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
- Monitor team KPIs and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Maintain clear communication between team members, clients, and senior management to ensure transparent and smooth operations.
- Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate the best products and terms for clients.
- Proven experience in account handling, with a specific focus on commercial account handling in the corporate sector.
- Key leadership skills is essential
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, with a track record of fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and market trends.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to ensure the professional development of team members.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with team members, clients, and senior leaders.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, insurance-related software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
