Job Description JOB TITLE: Core Banking Strategy - Senior Manager SALARY: £76,190pa to £106,400pa plus an extensive benefits package. LOCATIONS: London or Manchester. HOURS: 35 hours, full time. We're focusing on the future-investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone, including you!You'll be joining the Everyday Banking team to work on setting the strategy for LBG's Core Banking product and proposition. This is an exciting and future facing role that will enable us to re-imagine how we deliver products and experiences to our customers. In your role you will support the Head of Core Banking Strategy to jointly work with Core Banking platform and other teams across the Group. You'll help design and shape the Core Banking roadmap and work on the long-term strategy for LBG's Core Banking vision, product and proposition, underpinned by Thought Machine Vault and Proposition Layer. What you will be doing Supporting the Head of Core banking Strategy in defining and leading the cross Group long term strategy for LBG's Core Banking vision, product, and proposition. Driving the longer- term Core Banking prioritisation, enabling other platforms' product strategies to develop roadmaps, and ensuring clear understanding of requirements to benefit from the new core banking capability. Working with product teams to define, align and implement simplification of the existing product sets to facilitate ultimate decommissioning of the current Core Banking System (CBS). Defining the principles and requirements to enable all business units to achieve future target state technology. Defining migration and co-existence strategy from a business context, engaging other Business Units to realise the potential of Thought Machine as a capability. Engaging in regulator engagement including assessment of Consumer outcomes, potential foreseeable harms, and readiness for transition states. About you Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of the UK Financial Services Market, and scope for technological transformation. A passion and understanding of technology to drive the future of the Group's Core Banking strategy. Proven experience of developing future product propositions and implementing a product, customer, and digital strategy at scale. Product Owner Experience: Leading the creation and evolution of digital first proposition. Experience in supervising benefits realization across customer, commercial, and technology changes. Experience working closely with collaborators at senior management level. You will be adept at dealing with ambiguity and working across a complex organisation and wide collaborator group. You will have strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
