Overview

Cook, you will play an important role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, including modified or specialist diets where required
• Ensure high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety at all times
• Work with fresh ingredients and support menu planning to deliver a varied and balanced dining experience
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Knowledge of dietary requirements, including modified or specialist diets (beneficial)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Positive and reliable approach
