Location: Wykebeck Court, 543 York Road, Harehills, Leeds, LS9 6NH

Salary: £12.85 - £13.85 per hour (depending on experience)

Work Pattern: Permanent part time - 20 hours per week, 7am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Use your passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied and nutritional menus in line with dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Put forward ideas to deliver an excellent dining experience, helping residents to feel at home.
• Train and manage the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking and serving.
• Adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, procedures and budgets, and manage orders and deliveries.
• Cater for special events or seasonal activities such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and birthdays as required.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking with relevant hygiene certificates.
• Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen.
• Ability to create and deliver an excellent dining experience and make residents feel at home.
• Innovative approach to cooking while adhering to high standards.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with residents.
