Our client is a well-established law firm looking for an ambitious and motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills, gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation for a long-term career in property law.
The Role
Working alongside experienced conveyancing solicitors, you'll gain exposure to the full property transaction process, with responsibilities including:
- Opening files and completing compliance checks
- Preparing contract packs and completion documentation
- Drafting Certificates of Title and carrying out property searches
- Preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Resolving Land Registry requisitions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing as a paralegal or legal assistant is essential
- A law degree or ambition to progress within the legal profession would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Enthusiasm to learn, take on responsibility and develop your expertise
