ControCC System Developer Childrens Social Care

Contract: Initial 6 months
Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella)
Location: Midlands
Working Pattern: Full-time, remote/hybrid working supported

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ControCC System Developer to support a Childrens Social Care service during a critical period of system upgrade, service remapping, and alignment with national Social Care Reforms and the Families First programme.

This interim role will sit within the Improvement and Inspection Readiness Service, helping drive system performance and ensure the organisation is fully prepared for regulatory scrutiny.

This is a key opportunity for an experienced ControCC specialist to ensure system stability, compliance, and high performance while enabling data-led operational decision making across Childrens Services.

The Role

As the ControCC System Developer, you will lead the configuration, development and optimisation of the ControCC finance and payments system following recent upgrades and workflow changes.

Working closely with Liquidlogic teams, operational managers and finance colleagues, you will ensure the system effectively supports Childrens Social Care practice, financial processes and reporting requirements.

This role requires someone with strong technical expertise in ControCC, who can quickly understand complex system logic and deliver improvements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, development and enhancement of the ControCC system.
  • Ensure the system aligns with updated Childrens Social Care workflows, finance processes and service pathways.
  • Support system remapping following Liquidlogic upgrades and changes related to Social Care Reforms and Families First.
  • Identify and resolve system performance issues, data gaps and configuration errors.
  • Work with operational, finance and performance teams to ensure the system supports effective service delivery and reporting.
  • Provide specialist guidance on ControCC data structures, workflows and financial processes.

Required Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience working with ControCC within Childrens Social Care environments.
  • Strong understanding of Liquidlogic systems (LCS/EHM) and how they integrate with ControCC.
  • Proven experience supporting system upgrades, redesigns or service remapping.

Knowledge of Childrens Social Care pathways, including:

  1. Early Help

  2. Child in Need

  3. Child Protection

  4. Looked After Children financial processes

  5. Experience supporting inspection readiness or improvement-focused programmes.

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex system logic and configuration.
  • Experience testing system changes and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver improvements quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
