Job Description
Contracts Specialists, ideally with Quantity Surveying experience to support a major industrial project in Spain. You'll manage contracts from planning through execution, working closely with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute contract strategies and sourcing plans.
- Prepare, negotiate, and award contracts and POs.
- Manage contract types (unit rate, reimbursable, lump sum) and admin tasks.
- Handle changes, claims, and contractor performance.
- Use SAP for contract setup, invoicing, and payments.
- Support bidding, evaluations, and supplier approvals via Scout platform.
- Lead contractor meetings and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Track and report contract progress and risks.
Requirements
- 10+ years in industrial gases or complex engineering/construction projects.
- Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying; MRICS/CIPS preferred.
- Experienced in contract management, drafting, and risk handling.
- Skilled in SAP, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational, commercial, and communication skills.
