Contracts Specialist

Contracts Specialists, ideally with Quantity Surveying experience to support a major industrial project in Spain. You'll manage contracts from planning through execution, working closely with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute contract strategies and sourcing plans.
• Prepare, negotiate, and award contracts and POs.
• Manage contract types (unit rate, reimbursable, lump sum) and admin tasks.
• Handle changes, claims, and contractor performance.
• Use SAP for contract setup, invoicing, and payments.
• Support bidding, evaluations, and supplier approvals via Scout platform.
• Lead contractor meetings and ensure compliance with internal processes.
• Track and report contract progress and risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years in industrial gases or complex engineering/construction projects.
• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying; MRICS/CIPS preferred.
• Experienced in contract management, drafting, and risk handling.
• Skilled in SAP, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, commercial, and communication skills.
