Contracts Manager (Heating Services)
County Down Based Office Travel Across Northern Ireland Required Salary is negotiable, depending on experience

On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing organisation, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of heating-related contracts across Northern Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual with strong technical knowledge and contract management experience to join a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring contracts are delivered efficiently, KPI targets are achieved, and high standards of service are maintained for clients.

About You

You will be a proactive and motivated professional with experience managing contracts within the heating, gas, maintenance, or property services sector. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, leading teams, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager seeking a fresh challenge or an ambitious individual looking to take the next step in their career within a growing organisation that values initiative, accountability, and high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the delivery and management of major heating and property service contracts
• Ensure all contracts are delivered professionally and in line with agreed service standards
• Manage and coordinate resources to ensure efficient contract delivery
• Monitor and maintain KPIs, ensuring performance targets are consistently achieved
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management
• Manage engineer workloads and ensure all works are completed within required timescales
• Support with contract claims, variations, and associated queries
• Provide guidance and support to operational staff on contract-related matters
• Act as a key point of contact for client queries and service-related issues

• Attend client meetings and prepare monthly performance reports

• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and company procedures
• Promote and maintain a strong culture of health and safety across all operations
• Undertake any additional duties as required to support business needs

Qualifications and Skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum of 3 years experience within a heating, gas, property maintenance, or contracts management environment
• Third-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of heating systems, gas services, and technical specifications
• Experience working with Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Experience managing workloads, resources, and service delivery targets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
