We're expanding our local team and seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee projects predominantly within the West Midlands. Your Day-to-Day:

As a Contracts Manager, you'll be instrumental in the successful delivery of a range of flooring projects across the West Midlands, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgets, and the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Local Projects: Taking ownership of all project phases within the West Midlands region.
  • Handling Contracts Efficiently: Administering contracts and ensuring compliance.
  • Connecting with Local Clients: Building and maintaining strong, positive client relationships.
  • Guiding Regional Teams: Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Keeping Projects on Track Financially: Monitoring costs and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Prioritizing Local Safety: Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.

What We're Looking For in You:

  • Flooring Expertise: Ideally, you'll bring proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the flooring industry.
  • OR Transferable Project Skills: We also welcome applications from experienced Contracts Managers in other construction fields who have a strong history of successful project delivery (on time and within budget) and a genuine interest in learning and growing within the flooring sector.
  • Strong Organizational Abilities: Excellent project management and organizational skills are crucial.
  • Clear Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this client-facing role.
  • Financial Awareness: A good understanding of contract administration and cost management.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to delivering high-quality work and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license for local travel.
  • Team Spirit: The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer You:

  • A base salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000, based on your skills and experience.
