At Severn Trent, we do something genuinely essential-delivering clean water to millions of people every single day and returning it back to the environment cleaner than we found it.
OverviewNow we're investing big in AMP8, transforming our clean water network for the future-and we need a commercially sharp Contract Specialist to help us make it happen. If you enjoy getting into the detail, influencing outcomes, and driving real value from contracts, this is your chance to play a key role in a major infrastructure programme.
You'll own and manage contracts that underpin our clean water mains renewal programme-making sure they consistently deliver value, remain compliant, and run smoothly. You'll lead contract performance by managing suppliers, ensuring terms are met, and driving commercial outcomes, while spotting opportunities to reduce costs, prevent leakage, and unlock 2-5% efficiency improvements. With a strong eye for detail, you'll analyse contracts to identify risks and strengthen our commercial position, acting as a trusted expert for stakeholders on contract terms, payments, and processes. You'll monitor KPIs, volumes, and costs, turning data into meaningful insight, and proactively manage risks to keep delivery on track. Alongside resolving challenges and disputes, you'll build strong supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure everything runs seamlessly-from payments and onboarding to contract changes-keeping momentum across the programme.
