Contract Logistics Supervisor
As a Contract Logistics Supervisor within the facility you are responsible for multiple accounts in all aspects: customer satisfaction & relations, productivity of your employees, key performance indicators (KPI's) and quality/compliance. It goes without saying that employee satisfaction and development is also a big responsibility for you.
What you'll do?
In this role, continuous evaluation and improvement of processes are essential. An improvement mindset is crucial, and coaching the team on this behavior is part of the responsibilities. Implementing processes, including those for new customers when applicable, is also required. Time spent on the shop floor supporting the team ensures the daily workload is processed timely and according to UPS SCS standards. Proactive review of operations performance throughout the day, challenging the team to ensure sufficient staffing and meeting KPIs, is necessary. Addressing service and quality customer concerns is a key responsibility. Maintaining a focus on employee safety, leading by example, and providing immediate feedback when improvements or concerns are identified are important aspects of the role. Regular contact with the customer to review specific day-to-day requirements or follow up on general questions is also part of the job.

What you'll need
- Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics;
- Several years' experience in a management/supervisor role;
- You have good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken;
- You are flexible, analytical and you take initiative with good communication skills;
- Dedicated to drive improvement;
- Experience in managing large operations;
- A process driven person;
- Has the ability to identify new innovations and process improvement.
