We are recruiting for a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturer with a 100-year history, a world-leading business in manufacturing.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented and qualified individual with an electrical bias who is a great problem solver and has continuous improvement ideas, to thrive in a proactive electrical bias front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities - Contract Electrical Engineer:
  1. Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan improvements.
  3. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules.
  4. Work as part of a team to maintain site operations to World Class Standards.
Qualifications & Requirements - Contract Electrical Engineer:
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
  • Equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.
  • Technical experience as a competent electrical engineering professional, problem-solving skills, PLC/automation experience, and ability to produce safe systems of work.
  • Contribute to development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, processes, or services.
  • This role involves hands-on maintenance, including conveyors and end-of-line packing.
  • Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of the engineering plant are essential.
