Contract Civil Design Engineer - Roads / Infrastructure (Outside IR35)

Location: Scotland (Hybrid Working) Rate: £30-£45 per hour Contract Length: 12+ months IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to support a major programme of infrastructure and highways projects for a leading engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Civil engineering design for roads, highways and infrastructure projects
• Producing design models and drawings
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant UK standards and regulations

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in civil engineering design
• Strong experience in roads, highways or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D - essential
• Experience with drainage design software - preferred
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with relevant UK design standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
