Job Summary

Location: Stevenage - Kings Court. Salary: £31,347.00 - £36,282.00 per annum. Hours: 39 hours per week. Contract type: Permanent.

Role Overview

This role involves day-to-day management of the company's vehicle operations, supporting the Fleet Senior Administrator and Manager. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, oversee compliance, licensing, fuel cards, purchase orders, invoicing, fines and reporting, and act as a central point of contact for drivers and suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate vehicle operation records.
  • Track compliance, driver documentation and licence checks.
  • Manage fuel cards, purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Process fines and produce regular reporting.
  • Provide guidance to drivers and liaise with suppliers.
  • Ensure vehicles are safe, compliant and ready for use.
  • Support the wider team and contribute to strategy development.
Qualifications
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Strong communication skills and keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working with data.
  • Prior experience in fleet or vehicle operations is desirable.
  • Background in customer service and proactive approach to learning.
Working Conditions
  • Hybrid role with a base at the Stevenage office; at least one day per week onsite.
  • Flexibility to travel across the region and occasional visits to other offices.
  • Eligible to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Must reside in England or Wales during employment.
