We are partnering with a global leader in Business Services to recruit a Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader for their organization. This key role will be based in Utrecht, Netherlands, and offers a unique opportunity to lead cultural transformation and operational excellence initiatives in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.

The CI Leader will work closely with the Country CEO/MD, local leadership team, and the Global CI Leader to implement systems, processes, and strategies that drive sustainable performance improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement CI Strategies:

  • Design a prioritized roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement daily management systems, KPIs, and structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver measurable results.

Lead Kaizen Projects:

  • Facilitate workshops to address performance gaps and drive accelerated change.
  • Ensure sustainability of results through team engagement and follow-ups.

Build Organizational Capabilities:

  • Train and coach teams in foundational practices such as strategy deployment, KPI management, and action planning.
  • Support the development of visual management systems and performance review processes.

Optimize Processes:

  • Lead standardization efforts, value stream mapping, and benchmarking to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Promote best practices and share insights across regions.

Foster Cultural Change:

  • Partner with leadership to embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Work directly with frontline teams to implement practical solutions that address operational challenges.

Coach and Develop Talent:

  • Provide CI training to leadership teams and certify team members in CI tools, building internal expertise.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, with a strong record of implementing CI initiatives.
  • Expertise in establishing performance systems, including KPIs and problem-solving frameworks.
  • Proficiency in leadership engagement, change management, and cultural transformation.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree or certifications in Six Sigma, Business Process Improvement, or similar.
  • Experience in fast-moving industries such as healthcare, education, or retail.
