Job Description
We're looking for a digitally savvy, detail-oriented Content Strategist to join an international agency team. Based in Madrid, you'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple markets and help brands grow through smart, search-optimised, full-funnel content.
Reporting into the content leadership team, you'll partner with strategists, SEO specialists and creatives to craft data-driven strategies that deliver tangible results for a diverse client portfolio; from fast-growing start-ups to large global enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, from SMEs to multinational corporations in varied sectors
- Run comprehensive content audits to assess performance, spot gaps and inform future strategy
- Develop and execute editorial plans that deliver rich, value-led content across web, blogs, social, video and more
- Source and coordinate freelance talent ; copywriters, translators, designers, motion artists, etc.
- Track performance using analytics tools and deliver custom reports with actionable insights
- Secure client buy-in by presenting data-backed strategies tailored to their goals
- Contribute to new-business proposals in collaboration with sales and SEO teams
- Integrate SEO best practices into every content initiative to drive organic growth
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in content strategy (agency background is a strong plus)
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and sharp attention to detail
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and external partners simultaneously
- Commitment to high-quality deliverables and measurable results
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, German or Italian is a bonus
