• Job title: Contact Advisor (Part Time)
• Location: Upavon, United Kingdom
• Hours: 30 hours per week, 9am-3pm Monday Friday (on site)
• Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2027

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from individuals interested in joining the British Army
• Respond to candidate enquiries via online webchat
• Update and maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Provide clear information about the recruitment process and next steps
• Escalate issues or queries when appropriate
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications Essential

• Previous customer service experience, face to face or over the phone
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong listening skills with the ability to capture information accurately
• Flexibility to work a shift pattern between 8.15am and 7.00pm
• Patient, empathetic and professional approach

Desirable

• Familiarity with army careers, would be an advantage
