Blackrock Health Galway Clinic, part of Blackrock Health Group is the leading provider of private healthcare in the West of Ireland. There are 160 Consultants practicing across 60 specialties within the Clinic. Blackrock Health Galway Clinic is also an affiliated teaching hospital to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University of Galway. Since opening in 2004 the Clinic has provided 24 hour health care services to the western region. The Clinic is looking to expand the Consultant team to cover increased services with the following posts.

• Consultant Cardiologist (EP)
• Consultant in General Surgery
• Consultant Endocrinologist
• Emergency Medicine Consultant

The Clinic is aiming to recruit full time or part time Consultants who have completed the appropriate specialist training and are on the Specialist Division of the Register of the Medical Council in Ireland, or are eligible to be so.

Consultants will have access to a comprehensive range of services including medical subspecialties, surgery, intensive care, diagnostics and along with multidisciplinary teams. They will be supported by registrars, resident medical officers and specialist nurses. Those needing access for procedural interventions will be accommodated. Depending on individual needs outpatient resources will also be available.

The Galway Clinic offers a range of remuneration packages for suitably qualified specialists to fill these posts.
