As a Consultant / Fertility Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering clinical services within our multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

You will ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained in alignment with our organisational objectives and national standards.

Working closely with the Medical Director and the broader medical community, you will help standardise practices while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and service development.

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council is essential.
  • Specialist registration is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, ideally within fertility services.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job responsibilities

As a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine/Fertility Specialist, youll provide clinical services in thefield of reproductive medicine as part of a multidisciplinary team.

They will be responsible forensuring that the highest standards of clinical care are delivered in line with Care objectives aswell as national standards.

They will work closely with the Medical Director, the medicalcommunity of the organisation and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide standardisedpractice across the organisation in addition to continually striving to improve and develop servicesfurther.

They will be expected to actively participate in clinical governance and qualitymanagement of the local service.The post-holder will work with the Medical Director and colleagues in the management of therota to ensure activity is achieved and consistent safe cover is available.
