Consultant, Transfer Agency-Tax Transparent Funds

As a Consultant in the Transfer Agency (TA) and Tax Transparent Funds (TTF) Hub, you will support clients and investors from onboarding through the full TTF lifecycle, while helping to maintain and enhance the TTF operating model. As an individual contributor within the TA Tax and TTF Hub team, you will also support the accurate and timely completion of all tax regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities- Work with clients and investors through the TTF onboarding phase.
- Complete TTF tracker documents for clients and investors, sharing with clients and internally as appropriate.
- Support TTF clients and investors on an ongoing daily basis.
- Complete and review Investment Undertaking Tax (IUT) and 8th year deemed disposal tax calculations.
- Complete and review tax reporting to ensure reports (IUT and FATCA & CRS) are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure operating procedures are maintained, with the overall objective of enhancing the client experience to maintain the service quality.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to queries received from clients, investors and internal teams.
- Escalation point for unresolved tax issues from other TA teams.
- Liaise internally across multiple teams and jurisdictions.
- Work with the team, internal departments and group project teams on any allocated projects.
- Proactively focus on service and process improvements, getting involved with any ad hoc projects that arise.
- College or University degree and/or relevant work experience.
- Operational experience in a Transfer Agency or Tax role is preferred.
- Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and solid documentation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines, and variable workloads.
- Organisational skills to prioritize assignments and daily organisation of work.
- Good team player, self-starter, flexible, with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
