Consultant Radiologist

PE Global Healthcare has a great opportunity for a Medical Scientist (Histology or Microbiology) based in a well-known South Dublin Hospital!

The ideal candidate must be a dynamic Medical Scientist with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in Histology or Microbiology. The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a histology or microbiology laboratory since qualifying as a Medical Scientist.

Role:

• To assist in the organisation and coordination of the Histopathology service.
• To assist in implementing and maintaining a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO15189 and Joint Commission International (JCI).
• To assist in the training of Histopathology staff in the laboratory for the provision of routine services.
• To act as deputy for the Chief Medical Scientist when required and liaise with other senior personnel.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be a fully qualified medical scientist and have at least 4 years of post-grad experience.
• Evidence of Registration with CORU must be supplied with the application.
• Familiarity with ISO15189 and JCI standards.
