Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to deliver first attendance outpatient clinics on weekends as part of an elective recovery initiative. The role involves the assessment, diagnosis, and initial management of new neurology referrals in a high-quality, consultant-led setting.

Main duties of the job

Conduct face-to-face or virtual first attendance neurology consultations for new patients.

Provide clear diagnostic assessments and develop initial management or investigation plans.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical activity in patient records.

Communicate effectively with GPs and referring clinicians via clinic letters.

Support service targets by delivering efficient and patient-centred care.

Work collaboratively with clinic support staff and allied health professionals.

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
