Position OverviewThis is a Consultant post suitable for candidates with a CCT in Emergency Medicine or Paediatrics, with subspecialty training in paediatric emergency medicine or equivalent.
Location and TeamThe post is based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, which opened in June 2015. You will join a team of 14 consultants in a busy Emergency Department that sees over 75,000 patients annually. The role involves participation in extended hours and the on-call rota.
Qualifications and EligibilityApplicants must have full GMC registration and a license to practice. UK-trained candidates should demonstrate higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration in Paediatrics or Emergency Medicine (CESR), or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.
