We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant who is interested in working within an innovative NHS Trust that is regarded as Outstanding by the CQC.
Applications are invited for a whole-time Consultant post in Microbiology & Infection (10 PAs, of which 8.5 are DCC and 1.5 are SPA) based at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, the main acute site for Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH).
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be part of a team of two full-time consultant microbiologists, one full-time associate specialist in microbiology and infection, one specialty registrar, four infection prevention & control nurses, one antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist, one practice development nurse, and one tissue viability nurse. The role offers academic, teaching and research opportunities via partnership with Brighton & Sussex Medical School and the Trust's R&D department.

£113,565 to £150,569 a year, depending on experience.
