Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday with on-call.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Department of Neuroanaesthesia in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This post will assist the department in service provision across the West of Scotland.

Neuroanaesthetics is a welcoming department with access to wide-ranging clinical practice. The post-holder would be expected to fulfil clinical commitments in both theatre and critical care, as well as a contribution to the on-call rota and supervision of junior members of the team.

The post-holder will be expected to also contribute to the operational aspects of the Department. Applicants should hold experience within the field and informal contact with the service prior to application would be welcome.
