Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry with Special Responsibility for LD

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with special responsibility for Learning Disability to join the existing consultant team at Newton Lodge Medium Secure Unit, Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield (WF1 3SP). This is a permanent, full time position with 10 programmed activities per week plus on call. Part time may be considered.
Closing date: 13 May 2026.
Starting salary aligns with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£119,490 - £145,478). Placement review will be considered where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.

Person Specification Experience- Excellent knowledge in specialty.
- Excellent clinical skills using a bio psycho social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
