Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Haematology to join our dynamic team at Northampton General Hospital. Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert clinical care to patients with haematological disorders.

Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Engage in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.

Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit and quality improvement projects.

Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including documentation and reporting.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of haematology advancements through continuing professional development.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.

Completion of higher specialist training in Haematology.

Possession of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent in Haematology.

Experience in managing a wide range of haematological conditions.
