We have a fantastic Dermatology opportunity in Grimsby as we are looking for a consultant dermatologist to join our friendly and welcoming Community Dermatology service, recently rated 'Good' by CQC.
The duties will be primarily based between Cromwell Road (Grimsby) and Ironstone Health Centre (Scunthorpe), delivering full secondary care to patients across all sites.

About the Service
We provide dermatology care for North and Northeast Lincolnshire through our Community Dermatology Service, offering a wide range of services including General Dermatology, Patch Testing, Biologics, Phototherapy, and a weekly Local Skin MDT.
This role is a full or part-time position. The postholder will undertake new and follow-up consultations for patients referred by GPs, diagnosing a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions and initiating appropriate treatments, following guidance from the clinical lead.
Main duties of the jobThe main duties include:
- Conducting consultations, assessing medical conditions, and documenting findings and treatment plans in the electronic system.
- Following care pathways for common skin problems as per national guidelines.
- Providing treatments within scope and formulary restrictions.
- Offering treatments or surgical procedures within scope, ensuring procedures are within competence.
- Informing patients and carers, answering questions, and providing written information as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records, dictating letters to GPs, and reviewing correspondence.
- Performing surgical procedures after appropriate training and competency assessment.
- Ordering investigations and managing pathology results.
- Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participating in audits and service evaluations.
