Sussex Community Dermatology Services (SCDS) is one of the largest independent providers of NHS dermatology services in the UK. We are seeking ambitious Consultant Dermatologists to work with us in the South-East of England. Join a team of 23 consultants providing expert care in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, and complex cases.
We are passionate about delivering high-quality service and working as part of a close-knit team to address NHS waiting lists. This position offers a pay-per-patient model, rewarding you for the work you complete.
Main Duties- Deliver high-quality outpatient care to patients referred from primary and secondary care
- Assess and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer and inflammatory diseases
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and support junior clinicians
SCDS and Kent Integrated Dermatology Services (KIDS) triage dermatoses into clinics for a see-and-treat approach, reducing follow-ups. Our services include day surgery, minor operations, dermoscopy, patch testing, photodynamic therapy, and phototherapy. We focus on meeting patients' needs and preferences, prioritizing their wellbeing.
We collaborate with NHS trusts and integrated care boards, delivering over 100,000 new patient consultations annually, covering full cancer pathways, biologics, and subspecialties. We are a GMC-recognized body for revalidation and provide annual appraisals for our consultants.

Person Specification Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years NHS experience at Consultant level
