This role involves providing consulting, advisory, and technical services across various industries. The candidate should be capable of working with clients on strategy and architecture in key technical areas to facilitate business change, security, and compliance.

The technical consultant will work within Colt's Go To Market division alongside pre-sales and post-sales teams to generate new business and deliver solution-driven billable work. Collaboration with senior consultants will be essential to deliver complex solutions across multiple industry verticals, with autonomy and expertise in your technical domain.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Supporting and collaborating within the consulting team with experts in Cloud, Network, Security, and Architecture on various engagements, assisting with problem-solving and providing insights.
• Taking full responsibility for specific elements within consulting projects.
• Engaging with clients to understand and formalize their requirements through data collection and analysis.
• Ensuring proposed solutions are correctly understood and effectively implemented.
• Working effectively with cross-department teams such as Project Management, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
• Driving revenue and margin growth through new business, transactional work, and account retention efforts.
• Creating technical and non-technical collateral tailored to customer and project needs.
• Contributing to the development of pre-sales materials and practice improvement activities.

• Experience in technical strategic planning and architecture.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas such as Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, or Security.
• Ability to work well within a geographically dispersed team.
• Broad understanding of technical consulting in compute, network, and security, including industry trends.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS2, NIST).
• Vendor certifications and experience in areas such as Juniper routing, switching, WiFi, and experience with discovery and migration activities in customer network environments.
