Job Description
Construction Supervisor - Dublin D.O.E: €28 - €38 Per Hour Contract 6+ Months Overview:

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Construction Supervisor on behalf of our client for a 6+ month contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finishing works while taking a strong role in the day-to-day supervision and coordination of internal site activities. The role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, monitoring progress, maintaining quality standards and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate finishing trades and subcontractors on site.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of internal site activities.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
  • Coordinate and monitor internal finishing works through to completion.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and identify any issues or delays.
  • Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging through to completion.
  • Coordinate with the wider site management team, subcontractors and relevant project teams.
  • Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements, quality standards and site procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a Foreman, Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar role.
  • Trade background, preferably within construction.
  • Strong experience in internal finishing works.
  • Good knowledge of construction trades, sequencing and finishing processes
  • Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, Health & Safety and site procedures.
  • Ability to manage workloads and achieve demanding programme, quality and safety targets.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience taking responsibility for internal site operations would be highly desirable.
