Location: Hereford, HR4 7PU
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract & Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (with flexibility on staggered hours)

We are now expanding our Projects team and we are looking for a motivated Construction Project Coordinator who can combine technical know-how, empathy and professionalism to deliver outstanding results!

As our Construction Project Coordinator you will be the main point of contact for clients and their contractors - guiding them through the build process, managing contracts, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget.

You will play a crucial part in realising our clients' dream homes while projecting Oakwrights' commercial and quality standards.

As our Construction Project Coordinator you will be specifically responsible for:

• Overseeing the delivery and erection of structural oak frames and encapsulation systems on site.
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and stage payments with confidence and professionalism.
• Communicating clearly and constructively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Surveying and inspecting sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance at every stage.
• Recording and reporting on progress through defined Gateways.
• Thinking both logically and creatively to find solutions and maintain momentum on site.

About You

In addition to this, you will have:

• Experience in construction management (or as an experienced tradesperson ready to move into project management).
• The ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• A solid understanding of general building and health & safety practices.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A positive, proactive, and empathetic approach - balancing client care with commercial awareness.

It would be great if you had:

• HNC in Construction (or willingness to work towards it - fully supported by Oakwrights)
• SMSTS or equivalent evidence of managing health & safety
• Interest in green oak framing and modern construction methods
