Job Overview

Time Recruitment are supporting a leading heritage and restoration contractor who, due to continued growth, are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Repairer to join their team on a project in Fargate, Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of concrete repair and restoration works on heritage and commercial structures, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out concrete repairs on structural and non-structural elements.
  • Break out and remove damaged concrete using hand and power tools.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair using appropriate methods and materials.
  • Apply repair mortars, concrete reinstatement systems, and protective coatings.
  • Undertake patch repairs, crack repairs, and concrete restoration works.
  • Work from technical drawings and site instructions.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with site management and project teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Repairer within construction, civil engineering, or heritage restoration.
  • Experience with concrete repair systems, reinstatement mortars, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • CSCS Card (essential).
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Desirable

  • Experience working on heritage or listed building projects.
  • PASMA, IPAF, or additional construction-related certifications.
  • Knowledge of specialist repair products and structural repair techniques.
