Applications are invited for a new post within the Cardiology Department, focusing on transcatheter valve intervention at Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT).
ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will specialise in transcatheter valve intervention, contributing to the delivery and development of the TAVI, mitral, and tricuspid programmes. The role includes contributing to acute and primary PCI rotas, ward care of coronary artery disease patients, and supporting clinical research and undergraduate/postgraduate teaching.
A 10 minute presentation on developing the valve & structural intervention service in Leeds will be required during the short listing process.
Qualifications- MRCP (or equivalent) and inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT.
- Established skills in coronary intervention and related specialties, including TAVI.
- Strong commitment to teaching and research.
