Compliance Surveillance Analyst - 1 year contract
Multiple Vacancies Hybrid (3 Days On-site) Belfast
My client is expanding their Global Compliance Surveillance team in Belfast and are hiring multiple analysts across a range of experience levels.You will join a 45 person international team supporting automated surveillance across voice and electronic communications (email, chat rooms, etc.). All alerts are system generated and reviewed by analysts, with Belfast acting as the Level 1 review and escalation hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and investigate automated surveillance alerts
- Assess potential conduct, conflict or policy breaches
- Document findings clearly and escalate issues where required.
- Support client investigations, testing and control activities (experience dependent)
- Engage with stakeholders on data or production issues
Role scope by level:
- C9: Alert review and client investigation support
- C10: Testing, thematic and control enhancement work
- C11: End to end ownership of investigations
About You
- Background in Investment Banking, Financial Services, AML/KYC or Compliance
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working in a regulated, fast paced environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
