Complaints Officer - 12-Month FTC (Hybrid) + 26 Days Leave

Essex County Council is seeking a proactive Complaints Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Colchester. You will handle a varied caseload from residents and service users, investigating issues, gathering information, writing clear responses and ensuring timely outcomes.

You will work four days a week from the office (with some home-working after induction) and collaborate across directorates to drive improvements while maintaining empathy, accuracy and professional judgement.
