Job Description
Job Title 
Community Payback Supervisor - Unpaid Work Team (minimum hours contract), Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise up to 7 hours per day of community payback unpaid work placements for offenders.
- Drive service vehicles to transport offenders and equipment.
- Ensure all work site supervision tasks are carried out to the highest standard.
- Motivate and support offenders in completing manual tasks such as building benches, clearing overgrowth, cleaning streets, planting trees, graffiti removal and litter picking.
- Maintain client safety and maintain engagement with offenders throughout the placement period.
- Adjust to a flexible working pattern, including frequent weekends and occasional evenings; weekend hours are paid at a 50% higher rate.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (automatic licence not accepted).
- Right to work in the UK and fulfil Civil Service Immigration requirements.
- Strong communication, empathy and the ability to lead and motivate small groups.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Basic planning and organisational skills.
- Starting salary £28,064 pro rate (pay band progression available).
- Minimum hours contract; 7 hours supervising per day with potential weekend and evening working.
- Weekend work paid 50% higher rate.
- Varied, active role across community projects such as restoring facilities, tree planting and infrastructure maintenance.
