Job Description

One for the World is an effective giving organization that mobilizes students and young professionals to end preventable childhood death by pledging 1% of their income to the world's most rigorously vetted charities.

We seek a morally ambitious professional with immaculate communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain relationships across sectors. The Community Manager supports the Program Director in implementing two cornerstone initiatives: the Campus Chapters Program and the Community Ambassador Program. The Campus Chapters Program mobilizes students on college campuses to educate their peers, advocate for effective giving, and recruit new 1% pledgers. The Community Ambassador Program engages professionals to champion One for the World's mission within their workplaces and broader networks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage logistics related to program implementation and day-to-day operations
  • Develop and curate resources, toolkits, and materials that comply with organisational brand guidelines to support both programs
  • Organise and coordinate talks, social events, and engagement activities for stakeholders and new audiences
  • Support and manage recruitment initiatives for Campus Chapters and Community Ambassadors
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with volunteers across both programs
  • Support the Program Director with strategic planning and impact reporting
  • Collaborate with the Operations Lead on Mexico expansion project
Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • English and Spanish language proficiency
  • 4-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
Preferred
  • MBA graduate, especially if from a US- or UK-based institution
  • Background in sales or fundraising
  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Graphic design or content creation experience
  • Fundraising and/or sales experience
  • Multientry visa into the United States
