Contract type- Permanent Wholetime
Qualification required: A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/ Studies or Relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level i.e.; Social Work, Psychology is essential, (or relevant qualification received outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 7) with at least 6 month's recent experience working in the Social Care field supporting people with complex needs. Skills/Abilities required of a Community Access Facilitator: Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector. Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism. Proven ability to work on own initiative. Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP's. Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities. Delivers support according to the person's PCP and care plan. Fluent English and excellent communication skills. Full, clean Irish drivers licence essential with requirement to drive service vehicles.
