The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you'll play a central role in developing and delivering the Commission's communications and engagement activities.
You'll help build awareness of the organisation's work through:
Communications strategy development
Media relations and press engagement
Stakeholder engagement and relationship building
Event planning and delivery
Digital communications and website oversight
Content creation across multiple platforms
Public information and awareness campaigns
This is an opportunity to help establish how a new public body communicates with audiences for years to come.
About You
We're looking for a confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering engaging, high-quality communications.
You should have:
A degree in Communications, Media, Politics, Law or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification)
At least 2 years' experience in a communications and engagement role within the last 5 years
OR
At least 5 years' experience in a communications and engagement role within the last 8 years
Experience delivering communications across a range of channels
Strong content creation and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience organising events, campaigns or public engagement activities
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results to deadline
