Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop are our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. Comprising of Anglian Water, MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.

What will you be doing as our new Commissioning Engineer (MEICA)?

Our team of Commissioning Engineers ensure that all new assets delivered across Anglian Water by our alliances, are fully commissioned prior to being handed over to the end users with the correct documentation and adequate training to enable a safe, reliable and satisfactory operation.

As a fully qualified MEICA Commissioning Engineer working in IOS the key purpose of your role will be to support our partners to ensure all commissioning related deliverables are in place for the safe hand-over of new assets, in accordance with the capital delivery process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing portfolio tailored approaches for implementing commissioning by our partners in IOS

  • Help our partners build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all areas of the business

  • Reviewing commissioning strategies and plans, developed by our partners, on behalf of Anglian Water

  • Assisting in the development of commissioning impact plans

  • Witnessing key commissioning activities on behalf of Anglian Water

  • Providing technical advice and support to our partners during the commissioning phase across all IOS portfolios to ensure safe efficient commissioning

What does it take to be successful?
  • Extensive on site experience and of successful, safe, hands on commissioning of water and water recycling assets

  • Experience of supervising or liaising closely with contractors and sub-contractors on site

  • Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment

  • Appropriate technical qualifications in electrical engineering

  • A "can do" proactive attitude with the ability to manage your own workload and prioritse a busy schedule of work

  • A desire and passion to shape the future of commissioning in IOS
