Barker Munro Recruitment, a leading Insurance recruitment agency in the Kent and surrounding regions, is working with a fantastic insurance business who are currently looking to add to their commercial underwriting team with the appointment of a Commercial Underwriter.

As a Commercial Underwriter you will deliver on trading team targets through profitable underwriting of commercial risks across commercial market and mid market risks focusing mainly on New business and trading with brokers. You'll be able to build strong relationships with brokers and build a reputation as a regional underwriting expert.

To be considered for the position of Commercial Underwriter, you will be able to demonstrate experience of underwriting property and or casualty risks with the ability to trade with brokers in order to grow your book of business. You're knowledge and experience will have ideally come from an insurer background but there is a consideration that this experience could also come from commercial broking.
