Job Description

The Commercial Strategy team aims to better align price with value, provide a platform to enable growth, create a more secure and stable revenue base and simplify the way we do business via the products we take to market and the Partners we engage with. The Commercial Strategy team is responsible for the commercial terms the business operates under, ensuring alignment of all products and partner engagements including approval of any non-standard deals with clients and partners.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will manage the Commercial Strategy Partner Deal Structuring team. The key accountability will be to direct the Partner and Redistribution Commercial Strategy deal forums and frameworks that maximise our revenue growth opportunity and retention across all business lines/products and ensuring that the business and sales operate within a standard set of terms, at different strategic and operational levels. Supporting the sales organization in structuring non-standard partner deals within our business risk tolerance in a compliant manner is the key focus.

What you'll be doing
  • Team management of regional Deal Forums teams, including the Partner and Redistribution Deal Forum and Outsource Service Provider Forum.
  • Lead a regional Partner and Redistribution Deal Forum and incorporate the Artificial Intelligence Deal Forum into the Partner Deal Forum process.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive improvement of the overall process, including use of Artificial Intelligence to remove manual processes where able and train stakeholders.
  • Responsible for working with non-standard deal terms, balancing risk versus reward and articulating the commercial terms under which we are willing to contract.
  • Lead the operational process criteria for execution of deals approved at the PRDF.
  • Communicate and train stakeholders on the deal forum process and execution across the organization.
  • Manage integration of new commercial framework rules and policies, including the use of Artificial Intelligence at different strategic and operational levels.
  • Manage reporting on Partner Deals, including a monthly dashboard of approved deals and associated revenue opportunities.
Experience
  • College degree plus 10 years relevant experience; legal background an advantage.
  • Knowledge of D&A redistribution products, contracts, schedules and usage rights.
  • Familiarity with D&A big rules and D&A Commercial Policies.
  • Excellent commercial and operational understanding, including a good grasp of business value drivers.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrix organisation and with global high performing teams.
  • Good understanding of global financial markets.
  • Proven ability to think deeply and quantitatively about business problems, providing well balanced assessment and solutions.

  • Problem solving with good attention to detail and an ability to investigate and understand complex issues.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and skills required to perform detailed analysis using Excel.
  • Legal background working with license grants an advantage.

Base salary range: $0 - $0. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $0; please be aware that base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to the offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage and reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
